Petitioning President of the United States
President of the United States and United States Congress: Establish gender equality as a priority & allocate foreign aid funds accordingly.
We can not rely solely on education and advocacy to achieve equal rights for women. It’s taking too long and will never succeed, where male supremacists reign.
The number of women who are victims of violence and discrimination is astounding. They have no legal or social recourse, and if they did pursue either it would bring severe backlash or death.
We must put our money where our values lie. Therefore, we are asking members of Congress and the President to support this resolution.
